YASMIN ABDlSAlAM HARMOOSH

I write because my soul has words to say,
Because I choose my truth and keep my way.
I’ve walked through storms, yet never lost my light,
And turned my deepest wounds to words of might.

I do not trade my heart for gold or fame,
Nor let the world decide my worth or name.
My pen is free, my dignity is mine—
I write my story, and I make it shine.

If life takes much, it cannot take my soul;
For every scar has made my spirit whole.
And when the world forgets what hearts can be,
My words will rise—and speak for me.
